RAINFOREST ADVENTURE IN SHARAVATHI VALLEY

The Western Ghats is one of the Bio- diversity hotspots of the world- an area for all of us to experience, explore and cherish. The programme in the Sharavathi Valley will include treks through breathtakingly beautiful routes along the Sharavathi River.

You would also get to experience The Veegi Falls and/or Dabbe Falls, which are magnificent untouched waterfalls in lovely settings hidden deep in the mountains and dense forests of the Western Ghats.

Projects

Bhoomi Network’s projects support us as a context for our on-going programmes:

Organic Garden – The Bhoomi Campus has an organic garden, which is used for modules on organic foods and gardening in programmes conducted at Bhoomi.
Paper Recycling Plant – This mini plant is used to convert waste paper into handmade paper that can be used for files, artwork, charts etc.
Gaia Wilderness Centre – a 5-acre campus at Pearl Valley, about 40 km from Bangalore, which is being set up with the aim of fostering consciousness about our ‘Living Earth’ along with adventure and experiential ecology activities.
